Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience related to Pediatric Palliative Care and Bereavement required. Experience and advanced skills and training in crisis intervention/trauma therapy/ bereavement counselling with individuals and families facing chronic, critical, life-limiting illness, suicide and death. Formal training in trauma interventions required, including EMDR or ART training. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team required. Must exhibit a high level of self-awareness regarding death and dying experiences and demonstrate a respect for, and understanding of, individual differences in coping strategies. Demonstrated ability to work within a self-directed environment with minimal supervision. Ability to perform all duties in accordance with related legislation.

Preferred Qualifications:

BCLS-HCP required. Computer proficiency with knowledge of Connect Care an asset.
