Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in the health care system. In-depth knowledge of Income Support programs and allowances at a community/provincial/federal level (AISH, Alberta Works, CPP, OAS, ASB) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:The incumbent will demonstrate a high degree of independence, critical thinking, and problemsolving skills, an ability to prioritize workload. Knowledge and ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams is preferred, Experience working in an interdisciplinary team is preferred. Knowledge of relevant legislative Acts and experience with guardianship, trusteeship, personal directives and capacity assessment processes is an asset. Knowledge of EPIC/connect care.
