Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Active registration with ACSW. 3-5 years recent social work experience in an addiction and mental health setting. Experience supporting individuals to access relevant housing, treatment and financial supports in the Edmonton Zone (e.g. Strata Health Pathways, AISH, Alberta Works, NNADAP, PDD, contracted residential addictions treatment and housing). Demonstrated ability to incorporate the principles of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and/or anti-oppressive practice into working with individuals living with mental health and substance use concerns. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from a harm reduction perspective. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Highly proficient in the use of Connect Care. Experience in group facilitation would be an asset.
