Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Authorized by ACSW to provide psychosocial interventions. Excellent knowledge of addictions and mental illness. 1 - 2 years' experience working in an Addiction Program. Advanced computer literacy. Above average keyboarding skills (40-50 wpm) and proficient with computer programs – Outlook, MS Office, Zoom, Connect Care, etc. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of Trauma Informed Care. Working knowledge of Motivational Interviewing. 1 - 2 years' experience with individuals with Mental Health and Addictions issues. 1 - 2 years' experience in counselling.
