Social Worker II
Your Opportunity:
The Social Worker can complete the initial assessment of clients wanting to access ODP services, supervise client referral flow, support clients in applications, provide psychosocial support, and access other community services. They will provide generalist Social Work services to clients and their families within the established standards, directives, and policies for the ODP environment. These services may include psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition planning, prevention and promotion and public awareness activities. The position also involves consultation and collaboration with interprofessional team members and community agencies. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in Addiction & Mental Health. Experience with Connect Care.
