Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Authorization to perform psychosocial interventions required. At least one year, full-time equivalent hours providing care in an acute psychiatric or urgent community based mental health service within the last 2 years. Recent within the last 2 years and relevant mental health group experience required. Experience with diverse populations and the ability to complete complex biopsychosocial assessments, behavioral risk assessments. Knowledge of the Addiction and Mental Health related resources and ability to create a comprehensive discharge plan. Ability to organize activities and set priorities while managing high acuity and multiple competing service demands. Strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills. Knowledge/Understanding of DSM-V.
