Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:3-5 years' experience in community Mental Health settings particularly with regards to housing assessment, intake and support. Valid BCLS-HCP and NCI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention).
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of and ability to respond to diverse cultural needs of a wide variety of populations. Candidates must have working knowledge of recovery based practice, as well as Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction approaches. Excellent communication skills. Should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. A recognition for the importance of partnerships with community agencies is essential.
