Required Qualifications:

Eligible for registration with applicable Alberta professional College. Current Provider level BLS. Minimum of 3 years Emergency Department experience in a rural area, including CTAS certification/training. Progressive leadership experience in an acute care environment in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Including LTC Type A facility, Acute Care and ED. Strong organizational skills, client/patient-focused orientation, and commitment to excellence in providing long-term care and emergency services. Demonstrated ability collaborating with physicians, staff and stakeholders/other healthcare professionals.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Computer proficiency. Connect Care training and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing community-based programs and services. Demonstrated competency in leading self, engaging others, achieving results, building relationships/coalitions and championing system change. Demonstrated ability to manage diverse human, financial and physical resources within a complex environment.
