Required Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

All duties require the ability to function effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team. The shared goal is to maintain a clean, well-equipped, and safe patient environment—one that staff can take pride in and where patients receive the highest standard of care. Current Alberta Heart & Stroke BLS Provider certification (mandatory). WHMIS training and application knowledge (required). Fluent in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Recent experience (at least 1 year) in a similar role in an operating room setting is required. Proven experience with patient transport and operating room cleaning/restocking is essential. Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time. Able to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs. of force safely and correctly. Reliable, cooperative, and highly adaptable to changing priorities. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. A sincere interest in healthcare and a strong desire to support patient well-being. Must have the ability to successfully complete orientation at 37.5 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience in EVS is considered an asset. Knowledge of proper body mechanics (asset).
