Service Worker I
Your Opportunity:
The Service Worker I is responsible for a variety of duties supporting healthcare staff, patients and families, throughout the family room spaces within the Stollery including the 4th floor family room, 3rd floor NICU lounge, PCICU lounge at the Stollery main site (WMC), RAH Bear’s Den and Family Boarding rooms at the RAH site.
Description:
As a Service Worker I, you will be responsible for transporting patients (clients/residents) and equipment to and from different patient care areas within a hospital site. You will distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout the units and clean equipment and patient care areas as directed. You may also transport lab specimens, blood and blood products, and patient charts. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required.

Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:This role requires the ability to lift and move stock and supplies of up to 50lb. Bending and reaching above one's head is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a tertiary pediatric hospital setting.
