Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:BCLS-HCP certification required. Must demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to follow direction in a concise and accurate manner and communicate clearly and effectively. Must be able to follow verbal & written instructions. Demonstrate ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time. Must possess verbal, numerical and clerical abilities; visual and auditory acuity; motor coordination; eye-hand coordination. Must be able to perform heavy duties requiring pushing, pulling, and working above the shoulder level. Reliable, cooperative and ability to demonstrate effective service attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:Must be adaptable and flexible to meet the changing needs and demands of patient care. Previous hospital and clinic experience an asset. Current or previous experience in pediatric ambulatory clinics preferred. Knowledge of hospital equipment and procedures preferred.
