Expertise: The successful candidate will have a degree in web design, user experience, multimedia, journalism, digital communications and/or communications (or equivalent) or a related field with a minimum of four years of progressive online experience. Strong understanding and experience defining the information architecture and design for content delivered in a large-scale enterprise level website, preferably in RedDot/OpenText, Drupal and SharePoint environments. Excellent understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and guidelines. Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, user experience, information architecture, research, and design patterns, including industry best practices. Ability to create and/or adapt design, including wireframes and visual mock-ups, based on complex requirements, as well as information from web analytics, usability evaluations, and user research. Experience documenting processes, procedures and guidelines for content delivery, and conducting audits to ensure compliance. Experience with web analytics, search engine marketing and visitor behaviour tracking.
Additional Required Qualifications:Strong project management skills including measuring project performance using appropriate project management tools, aligning projects with business objectives, constructing detailed work plans, achieving milestones, and communicating the results. Ability to understand, utilize and communicate specialized information verbally and in writing. Proven interpersonal skills, client relations skills and ability to work in a multi-stakeholder and multi-team environment. Proven organizational, time management and sound decision-making skills required. A self-motivated team player with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
