Bachelor’s degree in nursing required and active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility with 3 years of recent leadership experience as a charge nurse/nurse clinician.
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated understanding of patient flow and hospital operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, judgment and decision-making skills. Ability to develop and maintain personal relationships, strong critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. Demonstrates situational leadership in high pressure and rapidly changing environments, balancing system priorities with patient centered care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in Connect Care. Knowledge of AHS policies, procedures and patient flow processes.
