Graduate of a recognized School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required. 1-2 years of VAD experience with demonstrated competence and in-depth knowledge in the operations of VAD devices and associated equipment required. 1- 2 years of ECLS specialist experience required. 3 - 5 years recent Nursing experience in a Cardiovascular ICU required. All level 2 certifications required. Previous management or leadership experience (charge nurse, nurse educator, project manager, etc.) demonstrating effective leadership / management, team building, teaching and communication skills required. Highly motivated, self-directed and demonstrated accountability and integrity in the performance of duties required.
Additional Required Qualifications:BCLS. Critical Care Certificate. Active CRNA Registration required.
Preferred Qualifications:As Required.
