Senior Consultant-Implementation Lead
Your Opportunity:
The Implementation Lead, Workforce management provides leadership, operational, and project expertise for the development, implementation, evaluation, optimization, and operational support for Workforce Management across the province of Alberta. The implementation Lead is responsible for facilitation and problem resolution This position will provide implementation leadership and guidance to various operational team members in order to achieve positive outcomes for AHS clients being serviced by Provincial Staffing Services (PSS). The Senior Consultant, Implementation Lead is also responsible for: Develops and maintains partnerships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and fosters and promotes collaboration in the development and implementation of the Workforce Management project and continuous improvement activities. Monitoring the progress of the operation/intake project plan. Identification of project risks and the development of mitigating strategies to ensure positive project plan outcomes. Supporting and providing guidance to the Program Director, Workforce Management regarding direction setting and planning for Workforce Management. Providing strong leadership to customers and PSS in implementing and adopting standardized staffing models and policies. Resolving client issues in a timely manner before and after implementation go live.

Baccalaureate degree in a health-related field or Business Administration. Understanding/knowledge of staff scheduling environment. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Alberta Health Services as an organization. Minimum 5 years progressive responsibility and leadership experience, preferably in health management, large scale project delivery and change management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-directed and displays excellent judgement/decision-making. Strong leadership, interpersonal and team building skills. Ability to interact with staff and leadership from various levels. Demonstrates a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Well, respected by peers.

Preferred Qualifications:Prosci Certification. AIW – AHS Improvement Way – Courses/Certification. Project Management Certification (PMP/CPM). Understanding/knowledge of staff scheduling environment. Demonstrated experience interacting with various level of leadership within AHS (Executive Director/Senior Operating Officer).
