Senior Business Analyst HRIS
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager HR Business System Support, the Senior Business Analyst is an integral part of the team responsible for supporting PeopleSoft, Taleo and eRecords. This is a key position which serves as a liaison between HR Shared Services, IT as well as numerous other areas that are system users or consumers. This position provides system support and analysis to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of HR Shared Services, HR and all other system users. As a senior, your role provides oversight, mentoring and management of Analysts on the team to ensure the effective and timely delivery of HR System Implementations, upgrades and enhancements. The HR Business System Support team provides all support, enhancements, customizations and reporting requirements for the organization, specific to the HR systems. The team works in a fast-paced environment supporting Multi Company/Multi Union Business with a mix of production support and new initiatives.
Description:
Define and analyze the application technical/functional requirements with specific hands-on experience as a Business Analyst. Lead contributor on cross-functional initiatives to ensure all areas of design, build and implementation are complete with no outstanding issues. Direct participation in the optimization, design, development and performance of PeopleSoft HCM as well as Recruitment Management System. Responsible for system optimization based on best practice research, identifying process improvements to gain efficiency and ensure data integrity across systems. Performs in depth detail analysis of business requirements, analyzes/builds complex functional designs, approves technical solutions, completes full testing and leads Operational teams in testing and implementation. Leads/Mentors Business Analysts in all phases of system implementation and troubleshooting. Reviewing functional spec and configuration test documents and provide feedback and guidance where required. Works with team to provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources and their activities, ensuring deadlines are met. Accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization. Continuously increases knowledge of PeopleSoft and Recruitment Management System functionality, working with Operations to identify anything that may be beneficial. Provides end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation and escalation management. Define business requirements and translate business needs into system implementation plans, including project prioritization. Implement the execution of system changes processes (updates, enhancements) and all aspects of system testing.

The successful candidate will have the following: Minimum of (7) years' experience within the last ten (10) years as a Senior Business Analyst in a PeopleSoft and/or HRMS environment preferably in a Shared Services environment. University Degree in Business, Human Resource or combination of related experience/education. Experience with a Recruitment Management System is preferred with ability to provide configuration, integration, application and troubleshooting support of the system. Functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM Modules including Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Time and Labor, Payroll for North. America, Self Service as well as integration knowledge. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with executive-level management on a regular basis. Experience working independently with end users in a production support environment. Able to learn new HCM concepts, work independently to meet deadlines and demonstrates strong problem solving. Ability to lead and guide other Business Analysts during Solution analysis and design. Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving, decision making and critical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with a large, complex, and unionized organization is an asset.
