We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor, Talent Development & Learning (Design) to join our Talent Management Strategies team. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Development & Learning (Design), you will design, develop, and implement innovative learning solutions that support healthcare leaders and employees across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders and client groups to identify learning priorities, capability gaps, and development opportunities aligned with organizational goals and workforce needs. In this role you will lead and support learning initiatives, projects, and programs, you will collaborate with stakeholders, instructional designers, learning specialists, and internal and external partners to develop strategic learning solutions that modernize curriculum, support professional growth and development, and enhance organizational effectiveness and performance.
Description:
As a Senior Advisor, you bring expertise in organizational development, team effectiveness, facilitation, coaching, competency-based learning, curriculum design, and adult learning strategy. Working within a virtual team environment, you will combine practical experience and academic knowledge in leadership and employee development to strategically design learning solutions using a variety of methodologies and modalities. You are skilled in applying principles of adult learning, human-centered design, design thinking, user experience design, and systems thinking to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences. As an adult learning professional, you bring strong facilitation, consultation, evaluation, research, and project management skills. You understand that effective learning requires stakeholder engagement, learner readiness, relevant content, and delivery methods that support competency development and behavior change. You are able to build strategic partnerships and work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to align learning solutions with organizational priorities and goals. In this role, you will lead and support learning initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and partners to develop innovative learning solutions that modernize curriculum and improve organizational performance. You may lead projects independently or contribute within cross-functional teams, using collaborative and human-centered approaches to create impactful learning experiences that support professional growth and organizational effectiveness. You will maintain awareness of current and emerging trends, leading practices, and innovations in learning and development to ensure solutions remain relevant, responsive, and aligned with the evolving needs of healthcare.

Minimum university degree in Organizational Development, Social Sciences, Adult Learning, Education, or a related field, with at least five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Minimum five (5) years of practical experience in: Designing and implementing competency-based learning solutions for leaders and employees. Leadership, employee, team, and organizational development. Organizational effectiveness and change management practices. Demonstrated: Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, learning taxonomies, and human-centered design. Analytical decision-making, project management, facilitation, and innovative problem-solving skills. Internal consulting experience with diverse stakeholders and client groups. Experience developing learning solutions using multiple methodologies and modalities. Advanced interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to lead, coach, evaluate, and support the development of others. Knowledge of current and emerging trends in adult education, leadership development, and workplace learning.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in facilitation, coaching, and adult education. Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience planning and implementing initiatives within a healthcare environment. Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also working independently. Strong presentation and knowledge-transfer skills. Excellent computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in virtual environments and navigate ambiguity, change, and competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Advanced understanding of evidence-informed research and evaluation practices to support decision-making and program development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Leadership, Education, Organizational Development, or a related healthcare discipline. Relevant certifications such as CSTD, CACE, CCM, Prosci, or related professional designations. Experience working within a large, complex organization, preferably within healthcare. Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and workforce development needs. Demonstrated experience leading or co-leading enterprise wide learning programs and initiatives.
