Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a master’s degree in Indigenous Health, Education, Population Health, or a health or social sciences related field. Strong knowledge and expertise in Indigenous history, Indigenous health and curriculum/course development concepts and teaching principles. Knowledge and sensitivity around the culture and health issues of Indigenous peoples as well as successful experience working in multi-cultural environments. Proven ability to foster partnerships within an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity as well as with Indigenous communities and Indigenous serving organizations, public health agencies, government, committees. Strong analytic capabilities accomplished written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships and teams. Proficiency with computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint). Minimum five years education and/or related experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. A demonstrated pattern of professional and personal development with previous experience mentoring staff. Knowledge of and experience conducting evaluation, quality improvement, performance measurement and/or knowledge integration in the health care or education field.
