Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current BCLS-HCP. Competency in Arterial Line Insertion. Competency in use of Point of Care Ultrasound for arterial line insertion. Competency in Endotracheal Intubation. Minimum 5 years Respiratory Therapy experience in a variety of clinical areas including adult and neonatal critical care in an acute care hospital within the last 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications:Leadership/Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with mentoring, evaluating and providing feedback to students and staff orientating to the unit. Relevant Baccalaureate or Master's degree preferred. Current ACLS certification preferred. Current NRP certification preferred. Current PALS certification preferred.
