Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be a graduate from a recognized school of Respiratory Therapy and have passed the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapy (CSRT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support is required. The incumbent must have 3 years current acute/critical care experience in a tertiary teaching hospital, demonstrated leadership skills, possess excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills, have a positive attitude, initiative and be highly motivated with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current advance life support certifications specific to the role, relevant baccalaureate degree and or supervisory training/certification.
