Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy Program. Successful completion of the National Respiratory Certification Exam as administered by the College and Association of Respiratory Therapy (CARTA) or the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapy (CSRT). Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). A minimum of 2 (two) years of adult critical care or emergency experience within the last five (5) years.
Preferred Qualifications:Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Current Neonatal Resuscitation Course (NRP). Certified Tobacco Educator (CTE) or current enrollment in required courses. Previous experience working in medicine, surgery, or OR. Previous Experience with quality assurance initiatives within a department.
