Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in a health or science related field. Registration with applicable professional association or college where required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Strong skills in biostatistics, epidemiology as well as working with large and complex health-related data sets. Proficiency in data statistical software (ex. SAS, SPSS, R, STATA) and/or other data management language (ex. SQL). Experience in data visualization software and/or interactive web reporting tools (ex. Tableau) is an asset. Understanding of relational databases and experience with accessing and using data from Oracle servers an asset. Experience in geospatial cluster detection methodologies and implementation an asset. Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary projects that involve multiple stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member in a high-paced team setting. Strong problem solving, critical appraisal and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, statistics, health sciences (or related field) with 3 years of progressive public health-related experience preferred. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
