Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Public Health, Community Health Sciences). Masters in related field (Public Health, Community Health Sciences) is an asset. Minimum of 5 years of experience managing health services research projects and grants within an academic research setting. A clear understanding and experience working with Health Information Act, Tri-Council policies for the Ethical Conduct of Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2). Formal training in project management methodologies (PMP designation is an asset).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with submitting and managing ethics applications, negotiating data sharing agreements, and managing grant budgets. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented, thorough, accurate. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving, sound judgment and decision-making skills. Advanced skills using Microsoft Office suite (including MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to work independently with limited supervision, under pressure with adherence to firm deadlines. Experience supervising daily duties of project staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with REDCap data capture and database management is an asset. Experience with quantitative and qualitative research and software is an asset. Experience conducting surveys and focus group interviews, theming feedback and analyzing results is an asset.
