Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of two years nursing experience in Acute Medicine within the last 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous charge nurse experience within the last 5 years. Excellent ability in organization and care delivery to clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team. Adhere to Collaborative Model of Care including bedside shift report. Current ACE modules, N95 fit tested, IV Management/IV initiation, familiarity with heart failure and COPD pathways.
