Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Enrolled or completed the final focus clinical practicum (within the last 12 months) in an acute care Level 2 or Level 3 Labour and Delivery unit, Critical Care unit or Operating Room. Demonstrated advanced problem-solving skills integrating critical thinking and good judgement. Ability to perform consistently in a highly organized, rapid moving, complex environment. Ability to collaborate within the expectations of a highly complex integrated team. Not currently in a regular full-time or regular part-time position with AHS.
