Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)
Additional Required Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to work independently. Experience working with vulnerable populations. Three years of recent experience working in a community-based program with clients with complex Addiction & Mental Health issues. Previous experience providing Outreach care and completing AMH assessments. Previous experience performing psychosocial interventions. Experience with community resources and ability to form and maintain relationships with community stakeholders. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:Strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated effective time management, independent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; and an ability to foster positive relationships within a team environment are all expectations of this role.
