Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:OHN Certificate Completion or in the process of completing Occupational Health Nurse certification. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. Ability to assess &evaluate new employees in relation to physical demands of the position. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with managers, employees, co-workers, physicians, and public.
Preferred Qualifications:Current and maintained registration and practice permit as a Registered Nurse with CARNA B.Sc.N. and OHN Completion or in the process of completing Occupational Health Nurse certification. Experience in Occupational Health field an asset. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Occupational Health Nursing in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity is preferred.
