Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years nursing experience required. Demonstrated skills in problem solving, case management, interpersonal relationships, and organizational leadership are required. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to work effectively independently, and within a team, effectively managing time and setting priorities when faced with multiple tasks and deadlines over a period of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Case Management, Home Care, Seniors Health, Discharge Planning and Placement or related experience an asset. Knowledge of RAI assessment tools. Ability to provide a positive and friendly approach challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.
