Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience required. A valid Driver’s License and a vehicle in good repair required. Ability to lift 30 lbs. required.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience working in a Home Care Setting. Experience working with acute clients and/or long term clients with a focus on chronic disease management. Experience providing case management, client teaching and professional nursing interventions including but not limited to Home Parenteral Therapy (HPT), wound care and ostomy care. Experience supporting vulnerable clients, those requiring palliative, mental health and/or addictions support.
