Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)

Additional Required Qualifications:

Active registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Life Support with Heart and Stroke Foundation. Current emergency or urgent care experience. Current triage experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Department. Current ACLS certification. Ability to work in a stressful, rapid paced, dynamic environment required. Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including clinical judgment and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills required. Ability to work independently and interdependently. Demonstrated strength in developing collaborative, effective working relationships with clients of cultural diversity and socio-economic diversity. Ability to lift/push at least 50 pounds, bend, reach, stand for long periods of time and work in confined/awkward spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

Current charge experience. Current PALS, TNCC certification Experience with pediatric populations an asset. Recent NVCI training. Proficiency working with Connect Care (EPIC). To ensure your skills and qualifications are considered please attach a resume and cover letter with your application.
