Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of Registered Nurse experience. Experience in pediatric rehabilitation. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills when working with complex families and patients. Demonstrate the ability to work in a family-centred care environment. Working knowledge of contributing factors and concerns/priorities of children with chronic conditions and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, highly motivated Registered Nurse who possesses strong communication and leadership skills: able to work in a clinic with multiple demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

Baccalaureate degree in nursing. Previous experience with electronic medical records: Connect Care. Knowledge and experience in child development and community resources are assets. Preference will be given to Registered Nurse who have demonstrated leadership ability and training.
