Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). If you have not practiced as a Registered Nurse within the last five (5) years, completion of the following free courses is required: CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 (https://connect.nurses.ab.ca/home/%2Flearning-and-development%2Flearning-modules%2F) and the NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (https://courses.nextgenu.org/course/view.php?id=271#section-0)
Additional Required Qualifications:The position has the following physical requirements: Standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and carrying during the entire shift; frequent awkward positions. Transferring and transporting supplies, equipment and people of varying sizes and degree of mobility during the entire shift. Long periods of sitting. Repetitive fine motor hand movements (e.g. immunizing, computer work with electronic medical record). Required to walk several blocks and climb several flights of stairs.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous immunization experience; Public Health experience; Connect Care experience.
