Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current CRNA or CRPNA registration required. Graduation from a recognized nursing education program required. Basic computer and email skills required. English language proficiency is required. Experience in Med/Surg. Experience with intravenous infusions and phlebotomy. Experience/Knowledge of Mental Health and Addictions. Experience/Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction based Philosophy.
Preferred Qualifications:RN/RPN with 2 years minimum experience in medical/surgical acute care, with preference given to those who also have experience working with Addiction & Mental Health populations. Critical care experience is an asset. Working knowledge of concurrent disorders, psychotropic medications and non-violent intervention skills.
