Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 3-5 years' experience working within Adult Addiction and Mental Health in the Calgary Zone. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Community AMH. Strong working knowledge of all processes within the Community Addiction and Mental Health Services Re-Design. Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues from across the spectrum of our programs. Demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines. Demonstrated proficiency with Connect Care and other data entry systems and electronic health records. This position is also responsible for some RN case management as the transition coordinator within the clinic. Demonstrated proficiencies with IM medication administration, med reconciliation and resourcing for clients within the Calgary Zone.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous intake and triage experience is preferred within the Calgary Zone.
