Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful candidate will work as a member of the Clinical Resource Team on the adult Cardiology and adult Cardiac Surgery wards and would need to be flexible with transitioning between units. They should demonstrate proficient communication, assessment, documentation and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and time manage appropriately. They will accept responsibility for maintaining unit clinical competencies through ongoing professional development, participation in unit training classes & maintain skills through annual recertification.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Medicine, Cardiology or CV Surgery wards. Experience with Telemetry and Connect Care.
