Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year nursing experience in acute medical nursing unit Current ACLS certification. This RN position includes the following physical requirements: being on one's feet for extended periods of time (including walking/standing), exposure to infectious diseases, and hazardous situations for which they are trained; be able to assist in transporting, lifting and positioning of patients; be able to bend, lift, push, and pull equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:Short Stay Cardiology experience preferred. Cardiology or Cath lab experience preferred. Critical care or emergency experience preferred. Arterial/Femoral sheath femoral removal experience. Up to date Annual compulsory education courses.
