Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to function capably in a busy acute care and ER. Ability to manage admissions/discharges and prioritize care needs for an Acute Medical population. Must be able to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful applicant will be receptive to and participate in unit and site change initiatives. Successful candidate may be eligible for relocation allowance.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years recent acute care and ER experience preferred. CTAS, Lead II, CAM-A, CAM-B, Trauma 101, and pediatric building blocks are preferred.
