Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year acute medical experience as a RN in the last 2 years within AHS. Ability to manage the job classification of “heavy physical demand” level as per the AHS Job Demands Summary. Proven ability to function in an acute medical environment. Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organization skills. Proficient with SCM and clinical documentation standards. N95 fit tested. It’s Your Move certified. 6 months Charge Nurse experience in the last year within AHS.
Preferred Qualifications:CVC certification. Chest tube care and management. Ability to manage and care for Patients with Dementia. NVCI course completed.
