Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Able to handle the physical demands of the position, including but not limited to walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of the shift. Safe transferring of adult patients of varying mobility, transporting supplies and equipment. Demonstrates and meets infection prevention and control requirements by following standard practice for all patients, including proper handwashing technique. Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.
Preferred Qualifications:Availability to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week.
