Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Effective verbal and written communication required. Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team setting required. Ability to lead a work team in an effective manner required. Ability to comply with the dress code required. Ability to treat residents with respect, regardless of race, health history and personality required. Ability to complete work within an appropriate time frame required. Please Note: This position is located outside of the Calgary city limits (136 km south of Calgary).

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in the continuing care setting desired.
