Completion of an accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program. Active registration with Alberta College of Paramedics (ACP) as an Advanced Care Paramedic. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP). Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with no more than six (6) demerits. Completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E.) test taken no more than six (6) months prior to the application date.
Additional Required Qualifications:Applications may be shared with AHS EMS recruitment teams from communities other than the one listed on this posting. Successful candidate must work collaboratively with a patient, their family and members of the patient’s healthcare team, consulting with other healthcare providers when necessary. Must act respectfully in a manner that upholds the patient, coworker and employers' dignity, safety, privacy, confidentiality and decision-making; taking into account the patient, coworker and employers rights, needs, culture and environmental context.
