Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Minimum 5 years clinical experience in related area. Active registration as a professional member with the Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution as required for registration or professional membership in allied health eligible profession. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Pediatric Tertiary Care Facility Minimum 3 years front line leadership experience Demonstrated ability in leading teams, coaching, mentoring and teaching, and the ability to facilitate practice growth in others Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders Effective communication, problem solving, change management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years' experience in a Child Life Program working as a Certified Child Life Specialist, Music Therapist, Art Therapist or Recreation Therapist.
