Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).
Additional Required Qualifications:This is a very specialized team with now recreation therapy support. The successful candidate needs to be independent in their practice with a minimum of 2 years recreation therapy experience. The therapist will also require a working knowledge of the Stroke Care. A high degree of independence, with excellent communication skills and inter disciplinary collaboration is required.
Preferred Qualifications:A strong back round in rehabilitation is preferred.
