Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) is required. Experience in program development is preferred. Must be able to work independently and possess strong participative and collaborative skills, including excellent communication skills. Computer skills, including MS Office. This position requires the successful incumbent to have a valid driver’s license and to have the ability to obtain a Class 4 driver’s license and drive a 10 passenger recreation bus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing programming and supervising Recreation Therapy Assistants in a Continuing Care Facility is preferred.
