Core responsibilities include family assessment and formulation, psychoeducation, parent-coach and behavioural intervention, family routine stabilization, caregiver support, school and systems liaison. The psychologist works collaboratively with patients, caregivers, and systems (school, community providers) to address family beliefs, behavioral reinforcement patterns, and caregiver functioning, supporting a shift from symptom-focused to function-focused recovery.
