Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from an accredited university program. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

2-4 years’ experience working in community mental health. Demonstrated understanding of Substance Use. Demonstrated understanding of Concurrent Disorders. Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Experience with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)/Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) or other specialized trauma treatment. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability within a complex and rapidly changing environment and may involve working with clients who present with criminal or suicidal tendencies, potential exposure to violence and aggression. Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological testing protocols is preferred. Certification in a trauma protocol such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy or Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) would be an asset. The ability to perform assessments, such as Cognitive Assessments and/or Psychological Assessments, is strongly preferred. Experience in Primary Care. Experience using Connect Care.
