Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12. A combination of education and experience satisfactory to the employer will also be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Two years’ recent experience in Addictions and Mental Health setting. Non-violent crisis intervention training. Sound observation and strong verbal communication skills. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in daily schedule and patient acuity changes. Working knowledge of patient and family centered principles. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Preferred Qualifications:

Health Care Aide certificate and Mental Health First Aid certificate. Vitals Training. Working knowledge of the CoACT model of care. Working knowledge of trauma informed care.
