Post-secondary degree in a health care profession, business or related field. Relevant project management-specific education, training. Post-Secondary Diploma or Certification in project management from an accredited institution.
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Experience coordinating and leading teams through project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a unique project environment with limited resources and subject matter expert availability. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Teams and Visio, is required. The candidate should be a motivated, independent, and adaptable team player, capable of fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They must be able to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines. Experience applying systems thinking and change management practices is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and inspire confidence in others. The candidate must uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and have a strong understanding of Alberta’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, as well as the Health Information Act.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AHS Zoom Enterprise, Telehealth, digital Remote Patient Monitoring, MS Teams. A broad understanding of healthcare and related issues is crucial, along with strong critical thinking, analysis, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Additionally, proficiency in developing and facilitating presentations is highly preferred.
