As a Contract Coordinator, you will be part of a collaborative team managing Direct Patient Care and General Services agreements. You will use your expertise in contract development and negotiations to ensure agreements are tailored to meet organizational objectives and patient care needs. In this role, you will build strong relationships within AHS, community agencies, and the supplier market to support integration across the health system. You will work closely with service area leaders to review service models, incorporating their requirements into the contract deliverables and service descriptions. Description:
As a Procurement Specialist III, you will showcase your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff and external vendors. You will develop new contracts and contract amendments that create value and mitigate risk to AHS. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to the competitive bidding process including RFx evaluations preparing contract documents, assisting with contract implementations and managing contracts within their assigned categories in compliance with AHS procurement processes, policies and guidelines.

Completion of post-secondary degree in Business or Supply Management.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven experience in project coordination, contract development, contract management, and both quantitative and qualitative analytics. Strong problem-solving and business negotiation skills, with the ability to think and act strategically using sound business judgment. Detail-Oriented: Must be meticulous and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including management, program administrators, clinical staff, vendors, and external partners. Organizational Abilities: Strong emphasis on prioritizing tasks, researching information, and providing fact-based recommendations. Ability to produce well-designed, professionally presented documents (e.g., spreadsheets, reports, contracts) and effectively communicate complex information. Project Management: Skilled in organizing project schedules, managing detailed data, and reporting on activities and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:This role demands a proactive, strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex contracting environments while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
