Required Qualifications:

Completion of 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 to 5 years broad experience in operation and maintenance of boilers, refrigeration, electrical switch gear, cooling tower, chillers, steam, and heating systems and associated automated control systems. Able to work without supervision and under stress. Under supervision, Incumbent is to use good judgement in solving technical problems arising in day-to-day operations. Knowledge of General Safety Service Act relating to Plant Operations and associated regulations. Writing reports as well as logbook entries. Grade 12 diploma required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Third Class Power Engineer’s Certificate as issued by the Alberta Boiler Safety Association.
